Musah: "Gattuso wants to see me on the ball more"

Yunus Musah spoke to VCF MEDIA following Valencia CF's 1-3 win over Borussia Dortmund, in the first game of the club's preseason. The midfielder highlighted the good feeling in the group after a solid performance.
Feelings after the first game
“We felt good. We are working hard in training and it shows on the pitch. Now it's just a matter of continuing to improve."
His return to midfield
“I having been playing in midfield in training. We are working on it. The coach was also a midfielder and he is helping us a lot with showing us how to play there. He sees on the pitch that we can do it ”
Gattuso's request
“He wants to see me on the ball more. He gives us clear ideas about how to play. I'm trying to do my best. I have always grown when playing in the position I'm in now, both at the VCF Academy and now in the national team, and I like it. It's what the coach wants."
Training in Switzerland
“We are enjoying it. We are spending time together at the hotel. We are together every day and it is very good for the team."
Ball work as a focus
“All footballers like to train with the ball at their feet, and that is what we are trying to do."
